Consisting of cousins Sonia Abel and Claudette Brown, Love Joys was one of the only roots reggae groups to be entirely made up of females. Coming out of Brixton, England, the group quickly appeared and disappeared, releasing their only album (Lovers Rock Reggae Style) in 1982. ~ Bradley Torreano
