About The Moore Brothers

Thom and Greg Moore started their folk-pop duo with 2001's COLOSSAL SMALL, recorded with a full band. The 2003 follow-up, ON AND OUT, featured a sparse rhythm section, but the duo's next two albums, 2004's NOW IS THE TIME FOR LOVE and 2006's MURDERED BY THE MOORE BROTHERS, featured only the brothers' acoustic guitars and close harmonies. A growing buzz in the alt-folk underground, including a collaboration with acid folk queen Joanna Newsom, led to a rise in the duo's profile; 2009's APTOS was produced by alt-country singer-songwriter Kelley Stoltz and featured the return of a rhythm section.
