A hotel on the outskirts of London in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. A brutal couple, Lee and Mandy, arrive in a van with two captive women held as sex slaves. Lee and Mandy think the hotel is abandoned, a place to find food and shelter. However, Terry, a former employee who has made the hotel his own, has other ideas. After the Plague is a novella by four-time Parsec Award winning author, Mike Bennett. It contains scenes of explicit violence and very strong language.

Customer Reviews

I binge listened, I love this guy's work. Doesn't just write good stories, he is very skilled at telling them. Quality, quality, quality.

Yay Zombies!

Characters with depth and great narration. What more could you ask for? The series isn’t too long so you can listen to it all at once while you’re cleaning or spread it out over a couple days.. and it’s fantastic! What are you waiting for? Yes there is strong language.

Suspenseful Action & Characters You Hate To Love

I have just finished listening to episode one and I already know that I am in for a wild ride and a treat, as per usual with any podcast of Mike Bennett's.

What a pleasure it is to listen to Mike Bennett transform into the voices of these two rude people in an outrageous situation.

Without any one-liners, this author makes me laugh out loud—and sometimes cluck my tongue at some character flaw or other. His characters are authentic. All of his stories are treasures.

I could speak volumes about how much I enjoy this author, and perhaps maybe I will go and leave some more rave reviews on his other podcasts, but in the meantime I'm going to get back to listening to the rest of this podcast. I have a tendency to binge listen to something that's good. And this is definitely that something good.
