Money is taboo. We’d rather discuss our sex lives or religious beliefs than our finances. Yet by not talking about something as powerful and important as money, we have nowhere to share our fears, insecurities, hopes and wants. Hosts Garrett Philbin and Sarah Li Cain want to make money more approachable by having frank and honest conversations. Each episode, they candidly discuss a topic at the intersection of money and life, drawing from their own experience and that of their guests. They create a space where wins, failures, happiness, shame and everything in between gets its turn. If you want to have open and honest money conversations, come join us . We hope we can serve as guides along your path of removing money as the roadblock between you and a more meaningful life. To learn more, go to beyondthedollar.co

Sarah & Garrett Are Going To Be Great
I'm so excited for this podcast! Sarah and Garrett are two of the most honest and authentic writers and finance lovers I know. They both offer a unique and fun twist on the topic of finance and I can't wait to see how much more applicable they make the topic!
Like a conversation with close friends!
I couldn’t be more pumped to subscribe (and binge-listen to!) Sarah and Garrett’s podcast. These two hosts know their stuff and tackle different topics than other personal finance podcasts. Keep up the great work, y’all!
What an amazing duo
I absolutely love the focus of this podcast. Budgeting, saving, getting out of debt, etc are all the practical side of personal finance, BUT when we get stuck it's not because we don't know HOW to do those things, but rather more the emotional component of money. Sarah and Garrett do an INCREDIBLE job in tackling this tough to talk about area of our financial life. Cannot wait for the next episodes!
