We are lucky to have Lewis and even Bloomberg for this...

I reallly don't know who else could do a show like this every week. There is more depth and patience in these interviews than most cable news operations can muster in a month of frantic coverage. Thank you Lewis and Bloomberg Radio for taking the time to produce these interviews.

Broad without losing erudition.

I've always liked Lapham's essays in Harper's magazine and thought him a strong writer. I never would've guessed he'd be such a good radio-show host (and that voice!). The guests are informed and passionate. My only complaint is their short length-but if you think about it, even thats a compliment.

Absolutely love this podcast... but I am having a technical issue

Lapham is a tremendous interviewer and the subjects are always fascinating. I wish he'd come out with one a day, but his pace is amazing as it is.

However, I've had to download the entirety of the episodes I was waiting to listen to twice as the podcasts have mysteriously vaporized off both my iPhone and my iTunes Library. Not sure what is causing this and it is not a heavy burden to download some 45 podcasts again, but it is odd.

Anyway, this is one the best podcasts out there. Period.
