Great Podcast on Why you Should (or should not) Pursue an MBA
The Business School Question's podcast titled "Is an MBA worth it?" was outstanding. It wasn't only a discussion about whether pursuing an MBA was worth it in terms of getting a job or a higher income but also encouraged the prospective student to think about some of the non-monetary or non-career benefits one could gain like personal development, the personal connections one can make, and other lifetime investment aspects of obtaining the degree. I liked the discussion about why so many students are pursuing these degrees in the first place: jobs and the demands of careers are changing due to technological disruptions, and thus many employers are demanding that workers have the proper education so companies can compete in today's global marketplace. What I especially liked about the podcast was its honesty: the participants discussed how an MBA is not a golden ticket to success but can offer graduates choices and potential success if they work very hard in their careers.
Thank you for presenting this valuable and educational podcast.
