Customer Reviews

Consistent, Knowlegable, Enthralling & Entertaining

It's rare you can get all four of these in one podcast, but the GWJ Conference Call delivers them week after week. Consistent - I have yet to hear a show where they aren't on their game. Knowlegable - I am continually surprised by new insight and unique perspectives from the hosts. Enthralling - Their debates are well-formed, and they don't forget to cover significant details. Entertaining - They are funny, well-spoken, and spontaneous. As a fellow podcaster, they set a standard that I hope to match.

Gamers with jobs are just the guys you're looking for...

With an excellent and mature (possible Wii jokes aside) these guys are an excellent addition to your collection of video game podcasts. They're like you, adult gamers with jobs and a life. And they bring an excellent and literate perspective on videogaming for the gamer that craves more than the typical teen banter and system bashing.

The Best Gaming Podcast. Period.

Consistently, this is the best podcast about video games to which I subscribe. Everything about it says quality. The production values rival and even surpass so-called "professional" podcasts. The content is always timely and well-presented. And, while there are, like most other pocasts, some inside jokes and tom-foolery, it serves to contrast and highlight the information presented rather than distract the listener. The regulars obviously like each other and they all work well together. The end result is a highly informative and extremely satisfying podcast about video games. I look forward to this each week more than anything else I listen to. Greater praise I cannot give.
