Witty, Challenging, Forward-Thinking Christianity
I am a Presbyterian pastor serving an amazing congregation in glorious Mt. Vernon, IL. I have been listening to The God Complex Radio Show since they started on Blog Talk Radio. Each week, God Complex was my Monday morning oasis of witty, challenging, and forward-thinking Christianity. Now in pure podcast form, the show offers a refined, best-of version of its former self. I am encouraged to know that within the mainline denominations we have this kind of reflection going on. As Bruce and Carol bring their unique talents to the conversation, they introduce us to thinkers and doers from all over the spectrum of "being the Church." These are the kinds of conversations that we should be having at all levels of the Church, across all denominations and "non-denominations." What a great listen and discuss resource for adult classes or small groups! This is worth making the time in your week. If you have a conflict or barrier to listening to the God Complex... you better get over it.
This is a radio show like no other. Fascinating topics, great guests, and thought provoking dialogue.
