The Local Bar is a place to sit back, relax, and join the conversation with some great folks who live just down the block. Each week, we bring a positive message from people who have amazing stories to share about themselves and the people around them. Pull up a stool. First drink is on the house.

The Local Bar 200 - Chad Alexander
To celebrate the 200th episode of the show, I've decided to turn the microphone inward and have my three favorite people that have ever walked the planet interview me.
Thank you for all the years, the shows, emails, and support. This has been an unexpected and fantastic journey.
I'm the luckiest guy you know. -

The Local Bar 196 - Tom Hall and Legacy
Sometimes I feel like it takes me so long to get some people I know to be on the show. This is a time that I waited too long. Tom Hall was someone you should have known, and he probably had an impact on your life, even if you didn't (certainly if you listen to this show).
Here's to you, Tom. -
The Local Bar 195 - Don Merckle and a Blacksmith
This week, resident musician of the Local Bar Podcast Don Merckle stops by to talk about almost anything but music.
Customer Reviews
Very uplifting!
I met Chad on the Rock Boat, so I decided to give this a tumble. The conversations with guests are fantastic. But, I keep coming back for the message of positivity at the end of the show. Great stuff, Chad. Keep it up!
Chad
I love the energy that they have on the podcast I also like that he has kids on the show. I like that it is something that will matter in your life not just nothing to do with anything.
Because celebrities aren’t as fun to listen to.
Chad and the guests that he brings to the show share perspectives that are challenging, insightful, and sometimes downright sabotaging.
He is real, and being real is hard when popularity is at stake. I applaud Chad for honesty and openness and for knowing the right questions to ask.
Great work!
