Description

Jason Hawes 'Syfy's Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International and Ghost Hunters Academy' and JV Johnson 'TAPS ParaMagazine & SCARE-A-CON' offer a different kind of paranormal talk show. With over 30 years experience in radio and television, these two aren't afraid to ask the tough questions that most hosts won't. Covering topics from that range from ghosts, hauntings, UFO's, cryptozoology, to the just plain "weird," and with listener calls, Beyond Reality Radio is better than ever!

Entertaining show

I enjoy listening to the show though I would enjoy an occasional night when the entire episode covered one topic rather than shifting to a new one each hour. The show It is interesting as well as entertaining. My only complaint about the app itself is that there is no way to fast forward. The show is long and often I can only hear an hour or so at a time. The problem I have is that when I try to continue the next day I am forced to replay the entire show from the beginning. Sometimes I do it but sometimes I don't bother. Perhaps the show could be split into 3 separate segmented downloads just as is done with Darkness Radio?

Jason and JV great team

Love this podcast!

Just not the same

Update: The show has gotten a bit easier to listen to with the lengths & ads, but I honestly have a hard time with how much the guests are interrupted. I realize you guys are trying to drive the conversation, but the constant interruptions while the guests are speaking comes off as a bit arrogant & ignorant. I do a weekly podcast as well and assert that it can be difficult to interject, but at least wait for them to stop speaking.

Original Review:

I really to hate to give this show a poor review. I was a fan since its original inception and even saw the final live episode of the old series at the Mount Washington Hotel. The newly revived podcast version is a bit too long, has too many commercials, and really lacks the focus that the original show had. Each episode contains too many topics & just lacks the segment differentiation that the original version had. I know this version is still new, so hopefully it finds ways to change. Also... Why is there two feeds on iTunes??
