Description

There are challenges and blessings that come from being in an interracial relationship. Struggling to figure out where you belong. It’s as if there are different worlds and one has to put a different face and personality to blend in these different worlds. It creates a division when there is no need for it. It’s actually a beautiful thing to be able to build such an important relationship with people from backgrounds, different than the one you grew up in. Rather than taking something away from the kids and parents, it’s a unique opportunity to add something to family lives and the world. It’s a great image of bringing people together. What are we afraid of? This podcast is designed to give hope and encouragement to those in an interracial relationship. If that's you, subscribe today.

Bring on the insight

The comparison of Punjabi crazy and Italian crazy is a great way to start. I can't wait to hear more from this important voice for folks who are in or blessed to be close to folks in intercultural marriages.

Multicultual Wedding Photographer Perspective

I just subscribed! because a wedding photographer who specializes in interracial & multicultural weddings, I love that this podcast dives into the joys & challenges of being in a multicultural or interracial relationship. Very insightful & helpful info.

Important Perspective and Topic

Interracial relationships can be a mind field, and is one territory that not may appear to be exploring in podcast form, despite its increasing importance, so when I came upon this podcast, it was a breath of fresh air. Not only were we learning and listening from real people as they discussed how they manage to navigate different upbringings, world views, and finding ways to meet in the middle and learn from one another, but it also showed she'd light on little things that go overlooked in any relationship.

The topics are varied, though I do wish we got to dive more into history and bigger picture cultural dynamics a bit more, as well as getting more varied background of guest (as far as income, education, professional field, LGBTQ, etc) but I'm sure there's only so much that can be done there, and I'm grateful to the kind people that were willing to be interviewed. I admit I also found this fascinating and helpful, as I have formed friendships and work relationships with Indians both 1st generation and from India and to have a podcast which helps explain and bridge this experience and point of view has been helpful, especially for my future interactions and relationships (platonic and romantic alike).

While the haitus can be inconsistent and dialogue and quick announcement of delays with fans could be better conveyed, it is understandable, especially since she started her own business and the episodes are usually worth the wait.
