There’s valuable advice here for yearbook advisers, new and old, from one of the legends of high school journalism. Best of all, like all my favorite podcasts, it both educates and entertains. As my students would say: 💪🏼💯💪🏼💯💪🏼💯
Amazing, made me cry
I work hand in hand with Ms. Lerner as her Yearbook rep, and even though I know the events leading up to 2-14, and after, hearing her and Jim Jordan hash it out was cathartic. Hearing Ms. Lerner read the stories from her Yearbook was so powerful. If you’ve ever been a journalism student I encourage you to listen to this podcast.
Couldn't stop listening
I started to listen to Jim's interview with Sarah Lerner at about 11 p.m. Had to get up early to teach the next morning, but wanted to check it out for a few minutes. Couldn't stop listening. I was dragging the next morning, but it was well worth it. Great listening. Don't miss it.
