Old-School Gospel is still alive and well!
As much as I love today's gospel sound, it's always refreshing to hear Gospel from back in the day...music and artists I grew up listening to like The Caravans, James Cleveland, Dorothy Norwood, The Sensational Nightingales, Rev. Cleophus Robinson, Shirley Caesar and others. This reminds me of the foundation that got me started musically.
Thank God for Bob Marovich having a vision to play these classic sounds on the airwaves! Gospel Memories is one broadcast/podcast I highly recommend to all lovers of Gospel music young and old.
