Roguelike niche

If you are a fan of Roguelike games, and perhaps also a developer of them, this is the one and only podcast for you!

Excellent show

I am a big fan of the show. I only actively play Jupiter Hell, Cogmind and DCSS but I enjoy hearing the stories and design philosophies of other roguelikes as well. Next time you do a Jupiter Hell episode (enjoyed the recent one) please ask about the use of noise in the game as in real sound representing the usual noise messages you’d get. Keep up the great work.

My love for this podcast is permanent

This podcast has a very special place in my heart, roguelikes are simply not properly understood by mainstream critics, and it's a genre which requires a wealth of knowledge to cover, and even just to play. I must admit that I was slightly disappointed that in their year end wrap up they didn't even mention my game of the year (shiren the wanderer on vita) but pobody's nerfect. If you have a passing interest in roguelikes or if you obsess about the pursuit of a perfect run, you will find something to like here.
