History of the Great War is a weekly podcast that will cover the First World War that occurred from 1914 and 1918. Every week we will be discussing the events that occurred exactly 100 years ago. We will journey from the borders of France in the blistering heat of 1914, to the shores of Gallipoli, to the banks of Somme, to the final knockout attempt by the German army in the spring of 1918.

Great content

Very interesting and insightful information for anyone interested in learning more about the first world war.

Great to see a WW1 'cast for the centennial.

Just started listening and so far so good. With so many "history of" podcasts out there, I'm glad to see a WW1 podcast started for the centennial.

Needs work. There are other options

Contains factual inaccuracies and a certain bias that leafs one to believe only few sources are used. There's another new ww1 podcast, plus when diplomacy fails is covering the July crisis (and covered the war earlier), and Hardcore History is doing ww1 now.
