In-Game Chat is a weekly radio show and podcast that covers video gaming and the games industry. We play games of every type on nearly every platform. We review what games we can and conduct interviews with talent, technicians, and management from the creative side of gaming whenever we\'re able. We offer strong opinions and we\'re suckers for hype, but we check facts, ask questions and we\'re wrong a lot. We broadcast live every Saturday from the heart of the American south, and we\'re pretty sure we don\'t have accents.
||Season 9, Episode 26||Weâre just gonna be over here, on our PS4âs, at the following link. Where to begin? Seriously, I donât even know how to start this or where to start it in relation to this episode. Itâs pretty much all Batman related, but it [...]||6/30/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 25||Weâre as surprised as you at the following link. Weâre back from E3 and weâre not sure what to think of everything. Microsoft, we felt, had a very decent showing and Sony was more than we ever expected as far as the megatonâs [...]||6/23/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 24||Weâre clicking ourselves into carpal tunnel at the following link. Well, here we go again. Youâre getting this so early, because this entire episode will be outdated in 24 to 48 hours. We touch a bit on the Steam sale, but for the most [...]||6/14/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 23||Our directional awareness is a little…skewed at the following link. So it looks like weâre shipping up to Boston (whoaaa) for Fallout 4! We expect by this time next week weâll have a date for the gameâs release. Hell, by this time [...]||6/9/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 22||Weâre not at all excited for E3 at the following link. We started a discussion about what MS & Sony had to show at E3 and we sort of finished that discussion off-air. Or well, we added to it without actually finishing it. You never really [...]||6/2/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 21||Weâre not completely optimized at the following link. Witcher 3 was released and at the time of this showâs recording (Saturday), I couldnât really tell you much about it. It doesnât work for me. Well, it didnât work for me [...]||5/26/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 20||Weâre not at all doing anything illegal at the following link. It might be because of the games coming out or just me doing research as of late, but it really feels like PC upgrading is in the air for us. James just upgraded to a 970 while [...]||5/19/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 19||Weâre taking turns being stealthy at the following link. Stealth games. Some games get it right and some get it wrong. I think one that we universally agree gets it right (almost to perfection) is Mark Of The Ninja. So when Klei, the company [...]||5/12/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 18||We made an important announcement at the following link. So I want to tell you about this weeks episode. Well, I want to bring up two things about this weeks episode. First, we had a great chat with Gareth Coker who did the music for Ori & The [...]||5/5/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 17||Weâre aiming for the THOR HOLE at the following link. So, Valve did something to piss off the internet. Of course they did. Anytime you start charging people for something they got for free for a very long time is going to have some people [...]||4/28/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 16||Weâre home at the following link. We donât normally touch on things outside of gaming during the show proper. Something we used to do on our MUCH longer episodes or some kind of extra content (we should look into doing those again, huh?). [...]||4/21/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 15||Weâre doing some fuzzy math at the following link. Lately Iâve been having a lot of fun playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Itâs a game I got a little ways through when it released and then got distracted or bored or something that [...]||4/14/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 14||We finally got everyone in the room at the following link. I think part of this episode is a great example of part of what this show does. That part being where we pretty much sell you on a game (or keep you from making a mistake). We give our [...]||4/7/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 13||We almost got the band back together at the following link. This episode really only consists of two topics. The first part of the show we talk about Bloodborne. The second part of the show talks about Pillars Of Eternity. And Iâd kind of like [...]||3/31/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
||Season 9, Episode 12||We’re still playing Cities Skylines at the following link. There wasnât much analysis to give over the recent announcement from Nintendo on breaking into the mobile gaming market. Thatâs probably because pretty much none of us do mobile [...]||3/24/2015||Free||View In iTunes|
Excellent Gaming site Begats an Excellent Podcast
Part of Evil Avatar's appeal is its acceptance of the bias every member has, and how that member will have opinions on the news, even the news that they post, and has a chance to show these feelings. The podcast is simply an extension of this idea, and although it did fumble some at first, it has become a great show, especially if you can experience it live with EA forumers you know, on the webchat set up every Friday night as the show is recorded and broadcast.
A fun listen
I listen to many gaming podcasts, and this is one of my favorites. I enjoy that it doesn't take itself overly serious, but still manages to be informative and a fun listen. Having input from interactive users via an online chat also gives the show a unique feel.
Professional and good quality coverage of game news. Plus, the after show banter is awesome!
