very good podcast for real travelers

I highly reccomend this podcast because it is for people who hate being tourists. I know that whenever I travel I do not want to be a tourist, so I do whatever I can to learn about the culture and language so I can blend in with the background. I fee this is the best way to travel because you can experience the culture as one of the people, not just merely a stupid tourist who pours money into the economy. I really enjoy this podcast because they have the same philosophy. The makers of the podcast come from Italy, so they already have a leg up on any of the guide books, and they have actually lived there for solid amounts of time, not just as tourists. They are very good in mixing together interviews with locals, really good information and tips, and videos that show you things you can't fully understand without seeing. So for anyone who is planning on going to Italy anytime in the future, I would highly reccomend this podcast to fully enable you to have a wonderful trip.

Fabulous Podcast

I absolutely love this podcast because it is an all encompassing tool to use to learn more about Italy. So far, some of my favorites have been when Paolo shows listeners on google how to find maps of Italy and his daughter explaining safety tips for children...she is adorable. Also, the interviews with travel agents/tour guides in different regions really helps listeners get an inside peek into different parts of italy. The funniest one is the hand gesture video...its hillarious but actually I have come across some of these says when speaking Italian with other people. I highly recommend!

A Pedestrian's Life in Italy

I love this podcast. I've been to Italy twice and if I could afford it, I would return to Italy every year. This podcasts brings Italy to me. The Pedestrian's Life episode was hysterical because it is so true. Also, check out the Italian Hand Gestures explained episode. Now I understand what my Italian uncles were saying when I was growing up!! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to produce this podcast.
