MacBreak no longer works for me
I have listened to all the MacBreak weekly shows since the first and they have gradually gone downhill. The information given is often wrong; their conversations meander off topic way too much; there is too much "joking" at the expense of women, and too many references to inside knowledge of the hosts and popular culture that are irrelevant. Frankly this podcast has become offensive and I have cancelled my subscription.
So cool, it's frigid!
This is the audio podcast I've been dreaming of - an hour long session with Leo Laporte and others talking exclusively about the Macintosh. And you know what the best thing is? No John C. Dvorak cutting other off participants, spouting nonsense about things he knows nothing about, endlessly plugging himself and his stupid blogs. Thank you Leo - you are the best!
Finally, a GREAT Mac Podcast!
After listening to the first episode, I've noticed a few things. 1. This isn't a "MAC IS THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST PC STINKS" podcast. They spend more time critiquing Mac than they do PC. 2. The hosts are professional, but fun. I was worried about NY Times, Macworld, etc. hosts but they really delivered! 3. I learned a lot! I'm a Mac fan, but don't know toooo much about the nitty-gritty of computers. In a 50-minute episode, I've learned from just hearing the hosts talk about, say, the Mac Pro. Great podcast. Five stars.
