Image editing with Pixelmator
Pixelmator is a great alternative to Adobe Photoshop for most common editing tasks that I need. Yes there are things Adobe PS will do that Pixelmator cannot, but I haven't need them. By the time my photo editing and enhancing abilities mature to where I need those PS abilities, Pixelmator may have added them by then.
I find the Pixelmator tutorials are very straight forward and quite useful in that they expose me to features I didn't realize Pixelmator already has built in. I look forward to the new version 2.0.
I am a programmer who stares at Image Editing UIs and wonders how any knows what to do. I started following Pixelmator tutorials over a year ago and these have made me able to finally understand Image Edit. These tutorial are short too the point and full of great information. Even if you don't have Pixelmator, but want to know about Image Editing this is a must watch.
Amazing Podcast! Professional, informative, and just as awesome as Pixelmator
I have been a fan of Sebastan and Anthony for almost a year, about as long as I've been using Pixelmator. I previously used Photoshop Elements but I found it very bloated, slow and hard to understand. I bought Pixelmator as part of a "mac bundle" and gave it a try. I had the same problem with Pixelmator that I had with Photoshop - it was not "intuitive" like a lot of software. What made me pick Pixlemator over Photoshop was the quality of the tutorials. Pixelmator had a LOT of tutorials on their website, from there I found Pixelmator tutorials.
Clearly these guys are professional graphic artists with the gift of simplifying complex concepts into very manageable understandable "segments". Combine that skill with the amazingly professional production and you a GREAT podcast. I LOVE their podcasts I have seen / purchased all of them from 2010 to today and they just keep getting better. I introduced my 14 yo son to Pixelmator Tutorials and he has already surpassed me and we both look forward to the new tutorials each week.
Thank you guys for the very hard work, professional production, and many long hours. If you get a chance please add a "donate" or "contribute" button to the website.
