Interviews with the people behind you favorite games.
All though this podcast is not put out often it is definitely worth listening to. They have had a who's who of people in there hot seat including John Wick, Fred Hicks, Dave Arneson, Steve Jackson and Tracy Hickman. I find it fascinating to hear how they think up some of these games. They also sometimes divulge games they are working on occasionally for the first time.
It takes all types to design games
One of the definitive podcasts in seeing how tabletop game designers and gamemakers think. Their personalities, quirks and preferences all come through in these insightful interviews. If you ever wanted to know WHY a certain game was made the way it was -- then this is the place to find out.
Please, sir, I want some more!
I always enjoy hearing what the people who make games enjoy playing, and this podcast provides that, along with stories of how games are created and how to get into the game industry. I wish they'd start doing interviews over telephone or Skype, instead of just at conventions, because then we could have more of these. In any case, it's people who love games talking with people who make games (and most likely love them too) and that makes for an interesting show. Perhaps they've already interviewed everyone in the game industry. In which case, well done lads!
