Holy Production Quality!
This thing is a sonic masterpiece. I really love the concept. So much fun! I'll admit when I first started listening it took me a few minutes to find my bearings, but now I'm hooked. I'm for sure subscribing and listening to every episode!
This IS radio clash!
And radio clash rocks...it also funks and discos and country-s and pretty much everything else that can (and maybe cannot) be deemed music. Quite simply it is the most wonderful melange of musical mix-upping out there at the moment, the best kept secret on the scene that is, thank heavens, at least for now (as Tim has pointed out in one of his many eloquent monologues) still something that cannot be co-opted by the majors. This is absolutely underground music at it's best...at once perfectly accessible and wonderfully off-putting. It's the old mixed with the new, but in such an ecclectic way I defy anyone to find it in the least bit dull. Unlike other mash-up programs that are heavy on mixing new rap with old pop, that's just the tip of the iceberg here. Tim literally is covering it all (and thank you for it, Tim, you are actually a dj rockstar whether you think you're just a "normal person" or not, ha ha!). It isn't just mash-ups, there are obscure tunes, forgotten tunes, unbelievably tacky tunes that will have you howling...just about the time you think you've heard it all, it gets better. Do yourself a favor and subscribe today (and turn on to podcast 125, an epic swirl of media overdose better than any drug, that will leave you breathless). This is the most satisfying sound going today and here's hoping Tim can keep it up for a long time to come. These podcasts make music worth listening to again. Now enough reviewing, I'm going back to listen to more...
Radio Clash is the best eclectic music podcast out there PERIOD
Radio Clash is the best eclectic music podcast out there PERIOD. Tim's podcast has everything including cutting edge music, forgotten artists of the past, the most creative mash ups and boots, mind bending mixes, and songs that evoke any and all emotions possible. Add to that his commentary on music, his own life and the world around him; equals perfection. Bonus points for great guest appearances by Kirk, Scott (from Night Nurse), Jeb (50 Pound Note) and many others (including some clown fromthe i Motor Away Podcast).
