For 'Searchers' & Believers

Dr. Craig is personally partially responsible for my acceptance of Christ. I heard him speak to my daughter's college group in someone's back yard in Atlanta on the basis for believing that Christ had risen. By downloading these podcasts, you can listen to Dr. Craig in your own backyard & maybe start your own journey! I find his talks to be very methodical, and persuasive. Opposing viewpoints are evaluated in a non-combative tone. Great stuff for a 'searcher' to listen to as they consider the merits of modern day religions. & for believers, lots of intellectual tools to defend the faith.

Air-tight logic + Christian dogma = Horrifying world-view.

I listened to two episodes, "atrocities of the old testament" and "what about those who never heard." I appreciates Mr. Craig's razor sharp grasp of logical argumentation, but when you apply this logic to a dogma that is as confounded as that of Christianity, you end up in a very scary place. Listening to a person justify genocide and infanticide is nauseating. His view on teaching God in Science class as a scientific theory and his characterization of atheists are the only things I heard that struck me as intellectually dishonest. The idea that people who never heard of God go to hell because he knew they would not have accepted him anyway is highly offensive. Although this idea may seem racist, I don't think thats where Mr. Craig is coming from. It is just another of the insidious conclusions that are drawn from rigerously applying the rules of logic to Christian dogma. This podcast is as interesting as it is unsettling.

Ideal For Believers and Non-Believers

We need apologetics to counter the bad image that Christianity has received in the media and in culture. Dr. William Lane Craig helps to counter this bad image tremendously! If only more people knew of Dr. Craig's work then Christians will better know their faith and non-believers may even come to Christ in the result of listening to Dr. Craig's work! I recommend this podcast to ANYONE that is reading this review now.
