I've only listened to the Shermer episode, but it wasn't good. The host is enthusiastic about some crackpot views on evolution, and asks a lot of odd, non-scientific questions that are painful to hear, especially in the context of interviewing Shermer, a man who could be dealing with so much more intelligent ideas.
This should be called "Credulo." These people will believe anything. Cherry-picked results, special pleading, and worst of all, dull interviews with windbag pseudoscientists like Radin and Sheldrake. Shermer is the shining light here, but you can find better talks with him elsewhere. He must have been fooled by the title too--can't think why else he would have wasted his time. Listeners should not waste theirs.
A classic (and pathetic) bait and switch
Who did they think they were going to fool? If you're looking for science and rational thought look elsewhere. This is credulous gobbledydegook defined. If you want the real thing try The Skeptic's Guide To The Universe or Skepticality. But if you're a Sylvia Browne fan then this is for you. Just park your brain at the door and walk on in. Zero stars would be most appropriate.
