TalkObjectivism is an interactive podcast and blog for radicals of reason. Its purpose is to serve as a forum for those interested in Ayn Rand's philosophy of rational selfishness: Objectivism. On the podcast, we discuss how reason can be applied to various aspects of our lives, in both personal and political matters. It was founded so that we may learn and grow as Objectivists and help others in the process. We are not necessarily experts on philosophy, but we are radicals for reason. One Guy's Rants, Mostly.

Kudos to J. Mosely for trying this, I was hoping that someone would put something like this out here. Unfortunately, it's pretty apparent that he is a beginner, both in Objectivism and in podcasting. A one-man podcast is difficult to make entertaining. He admits to doing zero show prep and very little study of Objectivism, and unfortunately it shows. Mr. Mosly departs often from Objectivism and mostly goes off on quasi-libertarian rants about how he thinks things should be. He doesn't really relate any of this back to Objectivist philosophies, so if you are listening to this hoping to learn something, you won't find it here. One of the college clubs needs to step up and do this well.

It's Getting Better

After Mosley finlly found a Co-Host the show is really coming together. Brandon adds the Objectivism to the show. Anytime Mosley goes on a rant, Brandon ties it to Objectivism. Since Brandon has read more Ayn Rand, he keeps the show on track. Mosley is Savage Nation and Brandon is the voice of Reason. So it makes for an fun and infomative show. Keep up the good work!

Just "Talk" - not "TalkObjectivism"

Truly awful: Mosley has a marginal understanding of objectivism combined with a lack of organization and coherence.
