This Video Podcast explores SMARTBoard teaching techniques to 6-12 Math Teachers. Our emphasis and purpose is to create lessons that are engaging for students. The lessons we will present will focus on getting students up to the smartboard and out of their desks. We will be covering template lessons that the viewer will be able to download off our website. Although we will be focusing on Math topics, most lessons can be applied to any subject. Dave Sladkey is a high school math teacher and Scott Miller is the Instructional Coordinator for the Math Department at Naperville Central High School in Naperville Illinois just west of Chicago. Both have been using the Smartboard since 2004. They have presented numerous times at Smartboard workshops at the school, district, state, and national level. Join us for this weekly Video Podcast.

Informative, Great Tips

This videocast shows you how to create great lessons with the SmartBoard. Dave Sladkey and Scott Miller might have a Math background but most of the ideas they show can be adapted to any subject area. They willing share their templates so you don't have to recreate Notebook pages. I've learned a lot from them and think they do a great job of explaining how to use your SmartBoard more effectively. Worth watching if you have a SmartBoard.

I consider myself a pretty darn good SMART Board user and most of what I have learned is from Dave and Scott. The ideas in the podcasts are easily adaptable to any subject or grade. If you have aSMART Board you need to subscribe to this podcast. Be sure to visit the website and download the templates.
