Hold your heart
Absolutley wonderful! I really hope the author has more to come. You will hold your heart for this story.
Love this story!! Can't wait for more -- hope I won't have to wait long! Narration is captivating and wonderful and I was so disappointed to come to the end and not know the end of the story
Wow, what a story!
William Tennant has written a book that will pull your emotions right out into the open. There were times when I felt the deep pain and enduring love of Peter, the main character as if he were personally telling me his story. The author uses snapshots of Peter's life at different times by describing a photo that may have been taken at that point in time in order to give each new chapter a reference point. This also gives the listener a mental picture to reference. It's a book that will take you through a gambut of emotions. Love, grief, anger, joy, embarrasement, etc. It's all here! It's hard to say more without giving anything away.
Some might think that things end unresolved, but in my opinion it ends perfectly allowing the listener to complete for Peter what is the inevitable conclusion.
