The best way to understand this massive story

First time when I started reading WoT, I was completely overwhelmed by all the thing the series had to offer and say. And to be honest, I was kinda lost, feeling that I was only catching half of the things that were being said with all those references to this rich world that Jordan presented to us.
And that's exactly the beauty of this podcast, that it's being explained to you little by little, but just by taking into account the information they’ve as the chapters come.
So, this means that it is a great "companion book" for first time readers, and also for people who like me, who didn’t catch it all the first time because of all the things that were being thrown at you.
I'm loving what you guys are doing here... Keep the great job !!

To much woke feminism

I love their enthusiasm with the story and the world that Robert Jordan has created.

I may come back and try again to listen, but the constant application of modern social standards and and focus on feminist interpretation of the characters became to much.

I have been reading these books since 1991, I always thought that Jordan had created a fantasy world with strong female characters. Even the audio books producers recognize this by have a male reader and a female reader. The time spent telling the story from a female perspective is close to 50/50.

Please focus on the story and resist being triggered.

Even they continuously comment on the fact that they did not react to the book with this modern feminist filter the first time the read them.

The Mother and the Keeper we need

Awesome podcast as a accompanyment to a re-read, or for myself a detailed refresher when I'm not in a re-read. Fantastic job!
