Fair Podcast

My criticisms won't be harsh because it's immediately apparent that the men creating this podcast are neither trained broadcasters or academics. Lacking these backgrounds makes a podcast like this challenging because it is neither terribly entertaining or educational. Their subject matter is World's Fair; fantastic, teach us about the Fair's varied past. Contact Fair historian's like Robert Rydell or popular authors like Jill Jonnes or Erik Larson who have written New York Times best-sellers about two of the most famous expositions: Paris 1889 & Chicago 1893. If the podcast creators want to inspire new fair fans, it is imperative they inform listeners about an era in Exposition history when it was arguably the biggest shaper of international culture. There are a couple of generations who know nothing about the Fair or its glorious past; unless the people who are passionate about the Exposition do a better job explaining its legacy, its memory will continue to fade farther and farther into the recesses of popular culture.
