Excellent Broadcast Journalism
I discovered this show a few months back and have never missed it since. What a novel concept - a news program where intellegent, informed guests interact and discuss top news topics in an informative, RESPECTFUL way. No yelling, no hype, no fabricated confrontations and Hardball-esque showting matches. Thank God for PBS!
Undependable podcast posting
The show itself is priceless. So much so that the spotty posting of the podcasts is very frustrating. For example, today is Sunday and last Friday's show is still not posted. This happens too often.
Truly excellent reporting
How nice is it to see a group of intelligent people having an intelligent discussion about pertinent issues? And to do it with unbiased, unpartisan respect for one another? Moderated by the considerate Gwen Ifill, Washington Week is possibly the best news show out there. I think it's great that it's finally in a podcast form so that those of us who want to can listen to it on the go. Thank you, iTunes!
