Super Duper ZenCast!

Having listened to loads of the Buddhist podcasts, this is one of the absolute best. Mixing in music with the extremely insightful ideas, this one is not to be missed! Some of my faves include the absolutely stunning Thich Nhat Hanh episode 28 which begins with a mix of ambient music and some previous Hanh words (#15). I highly recommend you check out the website, too, because there are filters of the various presenters, including Robina Coutin (great stuff!) and Eckhart Tolle. There are also meditation timers included in the feed (the first few episodes) of various lengths, which is brilliant.

Genuinely helpful and a great benefit

If you are looking to improve your life this podcast is for you. Of course, you must start with an attitude that it is valid to think outside of standard Judeo-Christian tradition. With an open mind, it is possible to enjoy and benefit from one of the most calming and reassuring voices teaching Buddhism in the US today. Most Zencasts feature Gil Fronsdahl, but there are also guest appearances by Thich Naht Hanh, Eckhart Tolle and others. This is a voice that needs to be heard above the din of religious and political intolerance in today's media frenzied world. Listening once a week reminds us that the world is best when everyone thinks in terms of being genuinely helpful. Download, enjoy and benefit.

Excellent Path for increasing awareness

Whether in the car or on the stairmaster, I find these Dharma talks to be very enlightening. They are always specific on the topic with a nice mix of music introductions to keep you in the moment. Gil Fronsdal seems to be fast becoming the cyber-buddhist monk of the age but Zencast has a nice mix of other enlightened souls to give balance. Thank you for keeping me grounded! My path begins here.
