Better than the rest
A better game than the other TuoMuseo apps, in parts much better indeed. Translation is good, and the slow moving pace of the PC has been alleviated in some parts. The big problem, though, is that it clearly wants to tell a meaningful story, and say meaningful things, but is too clumsy to convey anything. The Pompei episode was the only time I actually felt interested, compelled, and ultimately moved - and soon after the game starts telegraphing signs that its about to end. I totally lost interest in the third part, where what was supposed to be a tender and philosophical moment between husband and wife got totally lost because it simply wasn't handled well, feeling like a lot of exposition. The Pompei section is noteworthy; the rest is forgettable, though it pretends it's not. Also, it is amazingly silly to think anyone would travel to Naples in real life (this game is available internationally, after all) just to unlock certain areas of the game.
