    Let’s explain the Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) test results in Spanish! In this lesson, we will learn how to express a good result and explain that a bad result may be due to fluid in the ear and that we must allow some time for the ears to dry before retesting. You will notice that many of the phrases we learn in this lesson apply to explaining test results in general.

    In this lesson, we explain an otoacoustic emissions test in Spanish. We will explain that we are going to place an earbud in the baby’s ear and that the device will play chimes. When the baby cries, we’ll explain that this is not painful and that we can soothe the baby using the sucking reflex.
