Reseña de álbum

The musical material for this elegant and serenely beautiful ensemble work, written in 1995-1996 and scored for Eastern and Western instruments in alternative tunings, is based on data derived from two electrodes, attached to various plant leaves, that measure slight changes in the plants' electrical potential. The ensemble consists of 20-stringed and 17-stringed kotos, hitsu (25-stringed zither), sho (mouth organ), harpsichord, and two violas da gamba. ~ "Blue" Gene Tyranny, Rovi
