iNeed Aid

By AndyTomG

Open iTunes to buy and download apps.

If you need aid while abroad, you may not know the number for the emergency services. This application determines the country you are in and displays the emergency numbers (police, ambulance and fire brigade).

If for some reason your location cannot be determined (perhaps you have disabled the location services, or the GPS reception is poor), then you can select the country from a list.

In both cases, calling the emergency number is easy - just click the button displaying the correct number !

The application also includes a torch (if your device has the camera flash). You can use the camera flash as either a normal torch, or as an emergency SOS beacon.

A very useful application when travelling abroad !
