Album Review

The debut release from south Florida's Blue House Band contains 13 cuts that are steeped in electric blues with stylistic shifts that incorporate boogie rock, modern jump blues and Southern rock. Guitarist/vocalist Robbie Alter, bassist Richie Goldman, and drummer Bobby "BB G" Goldman let their modern influences shine with nods to Stevie Ray Vaughan ("Dynomite"), Canned Heat ("Age Old Secret"), and Jimi Hendrix ("Won't Forget My Spoons").
