FREEDOM - house vs reggae, old vs new, commercial vs underground

Dr. Alban's first important release in 4 years (after the 2008 collaboration with Haddaway called I love the 90s), Freedom is a combination of old vs new, house vs reggae, commercial vs underground.

The new song "Freedom" is a very catch dance-pop tune, which is already airing on radios in many countries like Sweden, Finland, Israel or Nigeria.

The EAPM Dance, House and Ibiza remixes are a bit simple and monotone, but good for clubs.

The Reggae Pop and Reggae Dubplate remixes are by far the best, combining Dr. Alban's and James Gicho's powerful voices with a nice reggae upbeat.

Hello Africa, No coke and It's my life are remakes of Dr. Alban's old songs. No coke and It's my life are somewhat too similar to the original versions, while Hello Africa is a much more powerful and complex version.

All in all, this is the Dr. Alban we all know, with a 2012 touch. It's a must for Dr. Alban fans or eurodance enthusiasts, but also for DJs.
