Havens adds urgency to Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" and George Harrison's "Here Comes the Sun". But he can be subtle, too, as when following The Band's South-glorifying "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" with an abolitionist original, "No More, No More".
