Greatest Hits contains a good cross-section of Jelly Roll Morton's best-known RCA numbers, including "Original Jelly Roll Blues," "Steamboat Stomp," "Black Bottom Stomp," "Shreveport Stomp," and "Red Hot Pepper." Although it doesn't offer anything of interest to jazz purists or completists, Greatest Hits is a nice sampler for newcomers and casual fans.
