Adding a Gallic twist to the Puerto Rican reggaeton sound, Emigrante del Mundo is the debut album from Portuguese-French vocalist Filipe Oliveira, aka Lucenzo. It features the original version of bilingual Big Ali collaboration "Vem Dançar Kuduro"; the Don Omar-featuring Spanish-language remake, "Danza Kuduro," which went on to top the charts in five countries; the Qwote/Pitbull cover version, "Throw Your Hands Up"; and the Top Ten follow-up, "Baila Morena." Lucenzo is a Portuguese singer, producer, and songwriter who broke through in 2010 with the reggaeton hit "Vem Dançar Kuduro." Born Filipe Oliveira in Paris, France, Lucenzo became a staple on Portuguese radio around 2008. His 2009 single "Dame Reggaeton" climbed to the top of the Portuguese charts, and then in early 2010 he collaborated with rapper Big Ali on the English/Portuguese single "Vem Dançar Kuduro."
