Ratings and Reviews
Needs a lot of improvements
Pros: design is OK with some exceptions, map functionality helpful, find tent/car seems useful although I didn't use it, Schedule and current time bar is intuitive but it's a bit too much to scroll horizontally
Cons: What's with all the redirects to browser? The point of the app should be to offer that functionality in the actual app. No functionality to make your own schedule and add the concerts that you want to attend. In the Schedule cells are tappable but what's the point of that I could not figure. Also would be useful to have artists info directly from Schedule, now I have to go to Lineup to search the artist. From there you can go to Schedule that's OK but in my opinion the other way around should also be implemented. Food and Sponsors/Activities lists are useless. Some info on vendors maybe could have been put directly from the map. Map filtering bar is awful and hard to use
I installed the app intending to use it as I did the previous years: plan the artists I want to see so I could get reminders before they start, check the map, get info about the artists.
Besides some info about the artists, a general description about the festival and, of course, a link to the precious ticket store, there is nothing. Actually there is. The app pushes all sorts of notifications which are rarely useful, but definitely annoying, from counting down the days to the event, to the fact that they have beach-volley.
They took out the most useful stuff and left things that barely make up an app.
I uninstalled it after the firstday of the festival, after I got a paper leeflet with the schedule and map.
For the best festival. (Mom, I'm fine! Promise no to do anything you wouldn't)
