Vouchers
I had two vouchers, one from Revolut and the other one was because I had sent a link to a friend and guess what : when I go to apply one of the coupons, no matter which one, NOT AVAILABLE. Let me be clear, the first one is available until June, so no reason not to work and the Revolut one, even though it was said to be available until May 15th, is now gone. I think this is the last order with FoodPanda.
Declining Quality
While I mostly have had pleasing experiences with the app in the past I couldn’t help notice the sluggish interface, stores and restaurants that show up as open, even though they aren’t, leaving you with a broken checkout button that endlessly loops the animation without actually creating the order. The biggest problem for me so far have been the false arrival times and massive delays, I would go as far as calling this shameless. I have never had such delays using other competitors and I have been using this service for the better part of the last 2 years. Lately, it’s been disappointment after disappointment, which is frankly a shame.
This app is a direct insult to your intelligence
Orders can be delivered even in more than 2 hours because the restaurants don’t care about the maximum delivery time that they agreed on.
The app does not allow you to cancel an order. You can not do this directly to the restaurant where you ordered, but you have to contact Foodpanda, for which you can not find any phone number. If you write an email, they answer you in minimum 2 days.
If you get upset about the situation, they offer you vouchers that are not even valid (they inform you so kindly that they feel sorry about the situation and they would like to fix it by giving you vouchers, which will become available in maximum 24h in your account. The problem is that when they become available, they are already expired, funny as that :)).
Long story short: this app doesn’t worth a penny, nor your time/ attention. There are better apps that have better employees and better approach on keeping its customers. It’s not worthy to keep on being the customer of someone who believes you are that stupid and accept the above.
