Welcome to the new HERE WeGo!
HERE WeGo is a free navigation app that guides local and global travelers on journeys both familiar and foreign. The app now has a fresh, new design and clearer, easier to use navigation.
Enjoy a more carefree journey and reach your destination effortlessly, however you need to get there. Get there on foot with easy-to-follow walk guidance. Take public transport in more than 1,900 cities around the world. Or use turn-by-turn voice guidance with accurate driving directions and go by car. You can even find parking at your destination and get guided directly to it.
Visit the same places often? Save them in a collection to stay organised and find them easier. Or use shortcuts to get directions to them in one click.
Need to make an extra stop or want to go a specific way? Simply add waypoints to your routes and HERE WeGo guides you there.
Want to save your mobile data and stay on course even without an internet connection when travelling? Download a map of a region, country or continent and complete your journey while staying totally offline.
HERE WeGo also works with Apple CarPlay® so you can enjoy world-class navigation in your car's built-in display.

What’s New
Version 4.11.300
Road signs
WeGo now tells you about important road signs you are approaching. Enable road signs in app settings, and see road sign icons with remaining distance indicated on the screen. You can also filter out the signs that are relevant to your driving experience and enable only those.
Settings for parking suggestions
You'll now find an option in the app settings where you can choose whether you'd like to receive parking suggestions at the end of your trip.

Make sure to tap “use app offline” if data plan is expensive
I downloaded the maps but somehow the “use app offline” was not turned on (could be my mistake). Anyway, the app won’t create a route if there is no internet and the offline mode is not enabled. It won’t advise you to turn offline mode on either.

Issues when downloading offline apps
The app is great, I especially love it for it’s offline functionality.
There is one small problem, nowadays phones have lots of storage, therefore I just want to download say Europe(all the maps of Europe i mean), if i do that after a while the phone goes to sleep and the download fails, i would have expected the app while downloading to prevent this behavior.
So ok i decided to just tap the screen every now and then and so after a while it would finish downloading, that did not happen, it downloads for a while and then it gives some error message that it failed for some reason and i can hit retry, once i retry it starts again, just as if the phone went to sleep and the download failed, can you provide any info as to why this is happening, or even better a fix for this please!
Stopped
Recently I can't use it at all, because- after
setting destination- the start button remains grey ( not green as usual ) and doesn't react. I was satisfied with it as long as it worked.
