About Bent Shapes

Boston indie quartet Bent Shapes first began releasing music in 2009 under the name Girlfriends. Led by singer/guitarist Ben Potrykus and drummer Andy Sadoway, their melodic and hyper-literate post-punk echoed classic East Coast bands like the Feelies and the Modern Lovers. After they rebranded themselves as Bent Shapes in 2012, they signed a deal with Father/Daughter Records and issued their debut LP, 2013's Feels Weird. Recorded and produced by Elio DeLuca (Titus Andronicus), Bent Shapes' sophomore effort, Wolves of Want, arrived in early 2016 via Slumberland Records. ~ Timothy Monger
