About Fink

Raised in Bristol, England, Fin Greenall was obsessed with the guitar before he discovered raving and immersed himself completely in ambient techno. He released an album under the name EVA in 1995, which attracted the attention of Ninja Tune Records, which signed Greenall as a trip-hop artist. Billed as Fink, Greenall released a pair of EPs, 1997's Finkfunk and 1998's Front Side Blunt Side, then delivered the full-length Fresh Produce in 2000. But by the time Biscuits for Breakfast was released in 2006, Fink had picked up the guitar again and transformed into a full-fledged acoustic singer-songwriter, a move that initially baffled his fans but eventually earned acceptance, and he continued to release acclaimed albums in the same style for decades. ~ Steve Leggett
