Описание
The iRound™ mobile app is an integral component of Press Ganey's iRound platform, which also includes a web-based analytical dashboard system and a suite of supportive services that together help hospital leaders transform their approach to the patient care experience. With iRound for Patient Experience, nurse leaders and other staff conduct daily patient rounds directly on iPads, iPhones, and iPod touch devices. Once complete, each round automatically uploads to the secure dashboard system, iRound IQ, where rounding data is added to trend graphs and personalized interactive reports that enable in-depth analysis and systematic performance improvement in real time.
iRound for Patient Experience eliminates the need to manually key in paper notes from daily patient rounds, reducing the risk of transcription errors and saving potentially thousands of hours of nurse leaders’ time. iRound also supports executive rounding on staff, which helps leaders identify high-performers and proactively address any issues that may be affecting staff morale or effectiveness. Executive rounding has been proven to drive higher levels of both staff engagement and retention.
Perhaps most importantly, iRound enables staff to take rapid action upon identifying a patient need or concern during a round, rather than waiting weeks or months to see results from today’s patients in future survey reports.
Automating daily patient rounds and effectively managing the identified action items has been shown to improve HCAHPS scores by as much as 38% in six months—which helps hospitals maximize reimbursement under both CMS’s and private payers’ Value-Based Purchasing programs.
