Description

The Game Masters Collection is a collection of unique sound effects, ideally suited for all genre RPG and LARP games, effects for a small theatrical production, or a creepy Halloween party. These sound effects were originally created by Toxic Bag Productions, and released as four compact discs: The Twentieth Century, Monsters, Fantasy, and Strange Places.

The Game Masters Collection for the iPhone/iPad is a jukebox for playing any of the lavish Toxic Bag sound effects from your mobile device. The free app download provides sample tracks from each of the four Toxic Bag collections to experience, as well as additional sounds for free that do not appear on the CDs. The lists can be rearranged, and tracks from the different collections gathered together into a Favorites list, perfect for a gaming session or party.

The free download provides over thirty sample sound effects, including a half-dozen each from the four collections. In App Purchase can then be used to activate the full list of sounds for an individual collection. Buy just the collections you want, and have them all available in a single app for playback.

The Collections:

Volume 1 : 20th Century

The 20th Century is a collection of places and things common between 1901 and 2000. Perfect for all modern-day RPG and LARP games, this volume contains realistic-sounding environments for your players to inhabit, as well as some general situations players may encounter.

Does the party have a shoot-out at the train station? Are they meeting that NPC at the airport? Will they be exploring that abandoned ship? How about letting the players hear the crack of a gun when they're being shot at. Is your world ending? Let the Emergency Broadcast Message calmly and clearly inform the players that the end is nigh.

Volume 2 : Monsters

Is there anything better than seeing the looks on your player's faces as you play the sound of the monster lurking behind the next door? Is it getting louder? Should they stay and fight or turn and flee? Don't just tell your players about the bad guys, let them hear for themselves what creepy thing is about to give them a bad day.

Monsters is a macabre folio of boogey men, aliens, and other horrors. What does that Hell Hound sound like? How about that swarm of giant bugs or that shambling plant creature? Great for Halloween fun as well.

Volume 3 : Fantasy

You've been playing your fantasy campaign for years now. Every session up until now has been the same old thing. But this time is different. This time your players can actually hear the Orcs charge! When your friend's 8th level wizard casts his fireball spell, the room crackles with the roar of the flaming missile! Now your group can hear the eerie mystic sounds of the enchanted forest as they explore it!

Fantasy contains over fifty sound effects based in the swords and sorcery tradition.  Take your campaign to the next level.

Volume 4 : Strange Places

Whether you're running a space opera or a fantasy epic, invariably the party will find themselves...someplace else. Hell, the Land of Dreams, Planet X, the Fifth Dimension. What do these places sound like? Now you can let them hear what's on the other side of that weird pulsing gateway.

Toxic Bag's recordists spent months risking life, limb and soul to bring you the sounds of these alternate realities and more places you probably wouldn't want to be caught dead in. It contains strange and different worlds and places for your party to inhabit.

What's New in Version 2.3

Five new sound packs!

Eldritch Horror: Cult Ceremonies is a collection of 9 different mystical cult ceremonies. Now you can let your players hear that pesky cult eagerly summoning their icky dark lord to wreak havoc on an unsuspecting world.

Fantasy: Dragons is a collection of 20 growls, hisses, roars and breath attacks. Now you can let your players hear one of the most iconic creatures of the fantasy genre!

Fantasy: Traps is a collection of eleven sinister traps for you to install into you perilous fantasy campaigns.

Horror #2 - EVP. EVP: Electronic Voice Phenomena. These mysterious recordings are believed by some to represent the voices of the dead. Now Toxic Bag introduces a collection of creepy EVP phrases for you to use in your modern horror game.

Sci-Fi: Blasters & Deflector Shields is a collection of 16 energy weapons and shields for you to equip your party as they enter your Galactic Sci-Fi Operas.
