ClaroPDF är en tillgänglig, professionell och användarvänlig PDF läsare för uppläsning av text samt egna anteckningar. Kommentera, markera och spara PDF-filer som är helt kompatibla med Adobe Reader och andra populära PDF-appar. Text i tillgängliga PDF-filer kan läsas upp av mänskliga röster med hög röstkvalitet, på ett synkroniserat sätt.

Tal, Produktivitet och Tillgänglighet
För att främja tillgänglighet och produktivitet, innehåller ClaroPDF inbyggda röster med hög kvalité. Röster med en bred valmöjlighet på färger till markörmedföljningen. Du kan lyssna på en PDF fil samtidigt som du använder ett annat program på din enhet. Fantastiskt för att korrekturläsa texter i PDF-filer, lyssna på innehåll under tiden du arbetar i ett annat program. Talhastigheten kan gå ända upp i 360 ord per minut och “Tala vid Knapptryck”-funktionen gör applikationen lätt att använda. Fler än 40 olika röster på 27 olika språk finns att välja bland (full lista finns på hemsidan). Eftersom dessa tilläggsröster har låga priser kan du enkelt skräddarsy ClaroPDF att passa just dig. Rösterna är inbyggda i programmet så att uppkoppling till internet INTE behövs för att få texten uppläst.

ClaroPDF tillhandahåller möjligheten att ändra färgen på bakgrunden i PDF-filen, för att förbättra läsbarheten. ClaroPDF stöder även iOS VoiceOver till fullo. PDF-bilder kan inte bli översatta i tal men kan till fullo bli sedda och antecknade i med ClaroPDF.

Anteckningar och kommentarer
ClaroPDF inkluderar ett bra Antecknings-verktygsfält som låter dig lägga till anteckningar och andra kommentarer. Dessa kommentarer och anteckningar kommer att stanna kvar där om du öppnar filen i Adobe Reader eller något av de andra populära PDF-programmen. Anteckningar skapade i andra PDF-program visas också och kan redigeras i ClaroPDF.

Konvertera till PDF-text
Förutom att konvertera foton kan du nu också konvertera alla PDF-filer i ClaroPDF till helt tillgängliga text PDF-filer. Förutom att göra PDF-filerna uppläsningsbara kommer de också att komprimeras, vilket minskar filstorleken.

Att arbeta med PDF filer
PDF-filer från de flesta andra PDF-läsningsprogrammen kan öppnas i ClaroPDF, detta gäller även för PDF-filer i mail och PDF-texter från internetsidor. Alla öppnade PDF-filer kommer att sparas i biblioteket för ClaroPDF för att kunna användas senare. Man kan även öppna PDF-filer från programmet Dropbox eller importera filer från iTunes. PDF-filer kan sparas i biblioteket, i Dropbox eller skickas via e-mail och öppnas i andra program som stödjer PDF-filens format. ClaroPDF erbjuder möjligheten att maila eller vidarebefordra en PDF i ett "tillplattat format" med permanenta anteckningar, eller skicka hela filen med redigerbara anteckningar så att andra kan granska den.

Synkronisera med iCloud
Du kan nu synkronisera ClaroPDF med ditt iCloud-konto. Detta innebär att du kan lagra och synkronisera dina PDF-filer och anteckningar på flera enheter. Synkronisering med iCloud kan dessutom fungera som backup för säker förvaring av dokument.

Spara som PDF app-förlängning
Genom att spara som PDF kan du konvertera text, bilder och webbsidor till PDF-filer från Safari och i princip alla andra appar som hanterar text, bilder och webbsidor. När de har konverterats kommer de nya PDF-filerna att visas i biblioteket för ClaroPDF.

App is worthless

Doesn’t work. Always wants to convert to pdf even if the file is a pdf. Credits? I bought the app...shouldn’t have to have credits. Even the schools version is asking for credits. Trust your students when they tell you the app doesn’t work. What happened ? This program and app used to be good. Don’t waste your money.

A lot of PDF files cannot be read because they are image PDFs and not text PDFs. For example, if you take a photo and save it as a PDF, no accessibility app can read it because it's just an image and there is no text.

This is why we need to convert the PDF, so the app can read it aloud to the user. It's not required that you convert the PDF, you can still draw and annotate an image PDF. But for full accessibility we recommend converting the PDF.

Regarding the credits: everyone who purchases the Pro version of the app gets a free lifetime supply of 5000 credits, which we reset periodically. This is a system we have in place to maintain a fair usage policy when converting PDFs, so that everyone is able to use this feature. You don't have to pay for these credits and they are built in to the app, so there are special permissions required to use them.

Works just fine for me, just two suggestions

Works great for reading texts in English and Swedish. I use the app to save time and make my own audio book of something I need to read but I also want so excise and can not bring the text. I reminded it! Very convenient. But I have one problem and one suggestion:
1) the reading stops sometimes when the phone changes between landscape and portrait mode when I switch from running and other exercises and I have to take the phone from my arm case and start over and then the cursor is not where the reading stoped so I have to look through the document and it is cold, the fingers freeze.. I would like the reading to be not dependent of the devises orientation and if the reading stops, that the curser would stay there or perhaps a small annotation mark would be inserted and saved into the document. This could be convenient also when I stop the reading and want to know where I left of the next session.
2) When out running, I listen to essays and articles to get an overview and be prepared for the reading of the test and annotate the texts. Some things I realise out running are forgotten or I can not find where in the text I hade comments. I would be super convenient if there could be a feature to put in just a little annotation with a click on my EarPods or a tap on the phone or something without having to stop running or interrupting the reading.
Since I don’t know if this is the best way to forward this kind of feedback, please point me in the correct direction. Cheers!

Thank you for taking the time to write this review for our ClaroPDF app. It's great to hear how it's helping you.

1) We do have a "Speak in background" mode in ClaroPDF, which you can switch on in the ClaroPDF settings. When this is enabled, it will allow the app to continue reading, even when the app has been minimised or the device is locked. This way, you could hit play, lock your device and put it in your pocket and it will continue to read. This might working better for you.

When the app is open and it is reading, it does sometimes stop reading when the device rotates. This is not intentional and it something that we will address in the next major version in the app.

2) This is a great idea! I do like this and I'll add it to our list so we can look at this and see if we can do this.
