RailModeller Pro is a planning tool for designing model train and slot car layouts.

- Export to JMRI's PanelPro app for controlling model trains (DCC)
- Community Layouts with hundreds of track plans created by a community of fellow model railroaders

Version 6.4.27

In this Maintenance Update:

• The Close Gap with Tracks assistant has been improved to avoid displaying duplicate combinations, show better progress information while searching for connections, offer enhanced settings for customizing the function, and to accelerate connection finding.
• Compatibility issues with macOS High Sierra (10.13) and macOS Mojave (10.14) have been resolved.
• An issue with the news link of the Welcome window has been corrected.

The update also includes additions and updates to the bundled library catalog of track systems and accessories.


RailModeller Pro 6.4 adds

• A Search feature to locate elements across the entire catalog of track libraries and the active layout document
• A point editor to easily review and edit individual point coordinates of line and polygon elements as well as the corner points of baseboard elements
• Improved Touch Bar Support throughout the app offering e.g. preset zoom levels, parallel track distances, QuickFilter categories and more


Additional changes in version 6.4 include

• A new inspector for text elements showing the font and a summary of the selection
• Improvements to the Info inspector
• Selections consisting of elements with multiple stroke or fill colors now show a multi-value indicator similar to e.g. Numbers
• Improvements and bug fixes for the stock and the custom key bindings editor

RailModeller Pro 6.4 runs natively on Apple silicon Macs and Intel Macs.

Great!

RailModeller Pro is the only track planning software for Mac, which could mean that less efftort would be put into it. But that is not the case. The programmers seem to put in a lot of effort to provide us Mac users with a powerful track planing tool. Sure, there are still things to wish for, but updates come regularly, so the future looks bright.

Very useful program

Railmodeller Pro has been used by me to not only draw my own four level layout but also a couple of layouts to friends. It's really nice and has most needed features and a really nice library. The one thing missing is a good 3D view where you can view the layout in a landscape. Apart from that, top notch!

Great and useful program !

Nice and easy-learned program that are intuitive and at the same time complex. No problem to build huge track layouts and you have full controll of the layout. Best Rail Modeller Program I've tryed so far (one of ten)!
