Geoff Peters tinkles the Steinway ivories on Christmas Day 2011, playing "The Christmas Song".

New Endings Old Beginnings is a tune I wrote while jamming with the amazing drummer Colin Defreitas. I perform it here, for its world recording premiere, as a solo piano rendition recorded on a late 1950's Steinway. It has an extended improvised intro and then a main melody that starts about half way through. I'm putting in a few Chick Corea influenced lines which I really like.

I do a short performance of the Herbie Hancock tune "Tell Me A Bedtime Story" on the piano.

In this practice, I work on reading the tune "Gregory is Here" by Horace Silver, from the Real Book chart. I then work on learning Close Your Eyes in a kind of calypso style.

In this practice, I work more on learning to play the tune "Have You Met Miss Jones" in all keys, without the book.
