Probably the best Bible app
I’ve been using this Mantis Bible for years after a thorough search for a Bible app where I could read the Strong’s, and various other dictionary. At a click on a Strong’s word, you will find various resounded available. I’ve made many purchase of different Bible versions, dictionary, commentaries, etc, to get understanding as I dive deeper into the Word of God. The customer service is also amazing, each time after upgrading a newer iPhone, somehow my many purchased went missing, the customer service responded very quickly and had restored all my purchased. Highly recommended this app, if you want to study and research the Bible in details.
Hope Mantis would make it available on MacBook too.
Most useful for Bible study
There are many apps for reading the Bible but this is the best. You can easily cross reference to other resources while reading a certain passage or word-such as concordance, dictionary or commentaries. You can compare different versions via easy toggling or using the parallel function to read another version of the Bible. I like that I can use the app on my devices or laptop and have them synced. Though some of the resources are paid (they do have many free resources), it allows me the option to have these resources for my Bible study, the selection is very wide and it allows me to have other Christian resources, such as books, commentaries or maps in one app.
Favourite bible study app
Started as a bible reader. The library gradually grew over the years such that it was a natural transition to a complete bible study tool. The ability to reference multiple sources and incorporate maps and photographs really enhances the bible reading or studying experience. Easy to bookmark, 'note' passages, highlight verses depending on your preference. The other great thing is that you can install it on multiple devices and platforms and access all the resources you purchased! It has a bit too many features to be a simple bible reading tool today but I very much appreciate the enhancements.
